People of the world, the first episode of the final season of game of thrones had premiered and the perfect viewing party, where else, but at the Johnnie Walker house in Poblacion, Makati.

We have Skycable and HBO to be thankful for this event because from start to end it was one fantasmic screening experience. to the organizers, kudos! you deserved a pat on the back or better yet a raise, haha.Fans were giddily anticipating for the coming of winter in this sweltering summer heat of the metro and it did not disappoint. our eyes were glued to the screen as the pioneer episode excited, enticed and enlightened. it also had a ode to season 1. argh, i don’t want to be a spoiler ‘coz you’ve got and an encore running w/in the week that you can binge watch only on HBO and HBO GO via Skycable.guests were treated to one nummy breakfast buffet, a photo op w/ the white king and daenerys, serenaded by a string quartet and 10 lucky attendees took home a Johnnie Walker White Walker whisky - so jelly!!! nonetheless, it was one fun function and to have been part of this world-wide phenomenon (by way of a watch premiere) PRICELESS!

Game of Thrones season 8 is showing every Monday at 9am w/ a repeat at 10pm only on HBO.
