Tres Leches IN THE OVEN was that scrumptiously enjoyable

An a hot summer’s afternoon, a tin can cake was placed inside the fridge to sit pretty and be served to a beautiful bunch of friends. an hour later, said dessert was pulled out of the cooling device and it was gone in 60 seconds, no joke. it cooled them down as well as filled their tummies real good and made them wonder, “how come the tropical tres leches cake from IN THE OVEN was that scrumptiously enjoyable?!”

Imagine, chilled chiffon cake layered with 3 kinds of milk, buttercream and MANGOES covered with cake crumbs - ay yay yay, pure joy.

The textures and flavors were balanced as you get the delicateness of the vanilla chiffon cake, the fluff off the buttercream, the creaminess from the milk and the subtle tang of the ripe mangoes. personally, it worked well and what’s astounding was that, it won’t give you that overwhelming sugar cringe feeling.

Be reminded, that there’s a wax paper covering at the bottom so don’t be surprised if you get a piece of parchment when you scoop this toothsome treat out the tin can.
