The first Spanish-inspired restaurant with Ilocano food! Ladrillos Restaurant, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte

Ladrillos is a Spanish word for bricks. The restaurant is located within a cultural asset registered by the national museum on December 23, 2015—the Balay San Nicolas, formerly Valdez-Lardizabal house; one of the oldest and most imposing heritage houses. The restaurant offers a unique experience through its fusion of Spanish and Filipino culture, perfect for those who want to experience both worlds.

Sopa de Mariscos is a traditional seafood soup from Spain, served warm or hot. It’s made with a variety of seafood, including clams, mussels and shrimp. The soup can be served with bread to soak up the flavorful broth.

Ensalada Mixta. Eggplant Salad is a classic side dish in any Mexican kitchen. This version is made with eggplant, and onions, which are all cooked until tender and then mixed together with an apple cider vinegar dressing.

Pollo a la Grilla - It’s not your typical grilled chicken. It’s a delicious, juicy, flavorful grilled chicken that you'll want to eat repeatedly.

Croquetas de Jamon - This made us order Sangria! BTW, they serve Bugnay Sangria! If you don't know croquettes,  Wikipedia defines them as small fried food rolls.

Rabo de Toro con Patatas Braves - One of the best, the flavors burst in your mouth. Ox Tail Stewed for hours in Red Wine and Herbs.

Arroz Negre - Seafood Rice. The Ink from the squid lends a flavor to the dish. Topped with fish, mussels, shrimp and squid.

Churros - Crispy on the Outside, soft and Tender on the Inside with Chocolate Dip!

Crema Catalana - The Spanish Twin of French Creme Brulee.

It was a fun experience because the location has Museum but at that time it wasn't finished and it's nice for date nights, a different experience for Ilocanos.
