Seascape Village is a modern seafood paluto or some people call it “dampa” in Manila Bay Area. Dampa is a Filipino word which basically means a “hut”. But in Metro Manila dampa is conjunction with fresh seafood, ia row of restaurants that cook fresh seafood according to the wishes of the guests. “The difference between us and a regular dampa is we have our own ice plant to make sure the quality of the seafood is always fresh. We also made arrangements with restaurants to purchase the seafood from the wet market to maintain the quality,” Seascape Village marketing and events head Christine Suntay.
