Mango Tree, A taste of Modern Thai Cuisine

Thai cuisine is kinda addicting. The first dish that would pop up my mind is Tom Yum. Tom yum or tom yam is a type of hot and sour Thai soup, usually cooked with shrimp. Tom yum has its origin in Thailand. The words “tom yam” are derived from two Thai words. Tom refers to the boiling process, while yam refers to a Thai spicy and sour salad.

They are located at Third Floor of Trinoma Mall. The resto really looks intimidating from the outside because of its elegant-looking interior. The price range is PHP1500 for two people. Without further due, let’s start the taste test.

We started with the Glass Noodle Salad. It doesn’t look appetizing but it’s really refreshing with its spicy lime sauce.

Okra Fai Daeng. Okay, I am not a fan of Okra or Lady Finger but I like how crisp it is.

Tom Yum Chicken Wings. This is my favorite, I love how flavorful the chicken is. It has tom yum powder so I expected it to be spicy.

Grilled Honey Spareribs. One of their best sellers, It’s fall off the bone the meat is covered with honey.

Tom Yum Spaghetti. This very unusual for me, they made tom yum spaghetti, but it’s really addicting.

Macapuno Salted Egg Ice Cream. Taste weird for me. but I like the presentation of the ice cream.

Overall, my dining experience was good, the staffs are very approachable. I will definitely go back to try their Pad Thai and other dishes.
