Traveling again to BGC need my hungry tummy to be filled with food that is not found on the North. I heard this Matcha Heaven names Nomi Cafe, a Modern Japanese Cafe. Nomi means to drink in Japanese Nihonggo. But their menu is not only about drinks they also serve Rice Bowls, Salads, and Dessert.
I thought it was just a small cafe with several tables, I was wrong. It was huge and it can accommodate around 20-30pax. That’s big.
The Menu is really inviting me to try their best dishes.
Let’s Start with Salmon Aburi. Torched Salmon, Cucumber, Grilled Asparagus, Roasted Carrots, Toasted Seasame Seeds, Ginger Miso Dressing.
Katsudon. Breaded Pork Fillet with Egg and Tonkatsu Sauce.
Gyudon. Thinly Sliced Braised Beef in Tare sauce and Onions with Steamed Japanese rice and Poached egg. It’s not poached egg the one they served us.
Berry Power-up. Strawberry and Blueberry fused together to perfection.
Tea-ramisu Dream. The iconic match tea-tiramisu inspired by kyoto desserts.
Legendary Greenies. like Brownies, but you know it’s made from matcha. That’s why greenies.
Matcha Churros. Matcha flavored churros served with white chocolate drizzle.
Overall the food is good. they are really good but what matters to me is their service. first, they don’t have inventory management. we had to change the 3 other dishes we want to try because it’s not available. Second, their staffs. The staffs are friendly but the way they handle the food and the way they take their orders is really disappointing. One of the staffs drops the plate in front of us that she looked like a mad waitress. Sponsored or Paying customers they should be treated equally.
